About the Position Dexis is recruiting for an experienced Senior Strategic Planner to support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in integrating and synchronizing Department of Defense military activities with United States Government strategy. The position focuses on developing strategies, campaign plans, and concepts of operation that translate strategic objectives into coordinated activities across DoD components, USG agencies, allies, coalition members and regional partners. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Execute all aspects of the Joint Operational Planning Process including mission analysis, course of action development and analysis, and decision support
Provide technical recommendations to joint planning teams regarding operational planning, execution systems, and joint doctrine
Support implementation efforts across USCENTCOM Component Commands, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, and Office of Secretary of Defense
Develop and deliver briefings to senior leaders on strategic planning matters
Evaluate and coordinate USCENTCOM strategies, plans, and policies for the Area of Responsibility
Provide analysis and recommendations for planning efforts involving joint, interagency, and multinational partners
Support joint planning teams in coordinating between staff and regional partner representatives
Advise USCENTCOM Commander's staff on strategic and regional concerns
Draft products including orders, analyses, estimates, and briefings for leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Graduate of JAWS, SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS, or Senior Service College
Minimum 10 years of professional experience
Minimum 5 years of joint strategic planning experience
Minimum 3 years planning experience at Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters or Service Component headquarters
Comprehensive knowledge of joint operational planning processes
Experience in coordinating with interagency and multinational partners
Strong analytical and communication skills
Active DOD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Prior experience at USCENTCOM
Experience leading joint planning teams
Knowledge of CENTCOM Area of Responsibility
