Field Service Technician
Target Starting Pay: $35-$45/hour (Will receive a lot of OT pay at X1.5 due to travel)
Mission The Enclosure Field Service Technician will report to the Director of Service. He/she will be responsible for providing in‑house and field service support for installations, start‑up, troubleshooting, and testing of enclosures and systems. Additionally, he/she will be accountable for adhering to all manufacturing and safety procedures while building and installing equipment.
Outcomes
Organized installation and commissioning of equipment.
Building strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
On‑time and on‑budget installations.
Critical Competencies
Travel required.
Competent in reading and utilizing mechanical and construction drawings/models to build equipment and install it correctly in the field.
Experience in construction trades, working with sub‑contractors and end customers.
Maintain project schedule while working as the foreman onsite.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide daily schedule updates to management and customers.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate on‑site situations and provide required solutions.
Knowledge of forklifts, scissor lifts, and cranes, with an understanding of proper rigging techniques.
The ability to work closely with internal departments and operations personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
Strong safety mindset when on customer sites, ensuring personnel and sub‑contractors are working within established safety guidelines.
