Housekeeping Supervisor - JdV by Hyatt Join our team at the JdV by Hyatt located in Brooklyn, NY. This person will be in charge of overseeing the housekeeping staff and department under the direction and supervision of the Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager. We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented and thorough person who will help our hotel be award-winning and ensure the satisfaction of all hotel guests according to Hyatt Brand Standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.

Obtain list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned and prospective rooms to prepare work assignments.

Maintain all supplies and equipment as well as assist in monthly inventory and maintain inventory levels.

Maintain the security of all housekeeping, maid and guest room keys at all times.

Document and communicate maintenance requests to maintenance department.

Open and close the house and address all room discrepancies, working in tandem with the Front Desk Supervisor, Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager.

Prepare rooms for VIP, tiered members and provide applicable amenities.

The Ideal Candidate

One year of supervisory experience.

One year of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.

Open availability for nights and weekends.
