Primary Mission Maintain the hotel assets through ongoing preventative maintenance programs and ensure all mechanical systems operate in accordance with Springboard Hospitality standards. Promote quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.

$22.00 – $23.00 Hourly

Bi‑Lingual English & Spanish Required.

Responsibilities

Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.

Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms.

Maintain rooms in optimal operating condition by repairing televisions, phones, clock radios, renovating fixtures, performing general plumbing, and repairing heating/ventilating/air‑condition systems.

Execute the Room Preventative Maintenance Program, preparing maintenance carts daily and performing preventive maintenance throughout the hotel, including front and back of house, interior and exterior, lobbies, public areas, and building exteriors.

Perform routine equipment checks and repairs to keep operating equipment in working condition.

Maintain inventory, order supplies, and keep maintenance work areas clean.

Assist in maintaining pool and spa areas, handling pool chemicals safely.

Manage master set of keys in accordance with security standards.

Respond to emergency situations including fire alarms, bomb threats, disasters and power failures; notify the appropriate authorities.

Conduct property rounds to ensure everything is working.

Complete maintenance requests, record equipment and meter readings, and document parts used or needed.

Handle elevator breakdowns and report unsafe conditions to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.

Qualifications Experience

2+ years in building maintenance.

Specialized skills in construction trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC.

Ability to handle building mechanical systems, controls, energy management, and interior finishes.

IT Expertise

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web analytics tools preferred.

Education

High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Subject Expertise

Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures.

Set up machines, create name tags, signs, and assist with parking lot and snow removal as needed.

Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Other Expectations

Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.

Demonstrate working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.

Travel required for hotel familiarization, content creation shoots, and meetings.

Schedule primarily during business hours, Monday‑Friday 8 AM‑5 PM PST; weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
