We are looking for a
Manufacturing Quality Engineer
to join our team. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for the analysis of product, process, and method issues at designated stages of product development and manufacturing. The objective is to maximize product conformance to specified requirements while ensuring manufacturability. Participate in development activities to proactively improve product, processes and prevent NCP (Nonconforming Product). Responding to customer compliance requests. Assisting with internal and external corrective action responses.
This is a full-time exempt position that will report directly to the Quality Engineering Manager.

Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with appropriate personnel.
Position Summary
Perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for improvement.
Document quality assurance activities and create reports.
Support the use of statistics for product improvement and process control.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Provide data and Pareto analysis of problem parts and processes.
Ensure that QMS standards are followed.
Required Skills/Education/Experience
Associates/ Bachelor's Degree required.
Knowledge of AS9100, ISO13485, or equivalent QMS process.
Working knowledge of quality assurance tools, methods, and concepts.
Certain technical skills and training, such as; quality tools and techniques, ability to read and understand engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), problem solving skills (8D), process capability theory and statistical process control (SPC) are desired.
Working knowledge of Lean tools.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Engineer.
Experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility.
