Job Summary Electrical Engineering Design consulting firm is interested in qualified resumes for Electrical Design engineer and Electrical CAD Drafting positions. The role is for a mid‑level Electrical Engineer and CAD operator in the construction field, designing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial building projects.

Responsibilities Candidate shall be familiar with Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Power Systems (lighting plan, Title 24 energy calculations, power distribution system, single line diagram). The engineer will perform load calculations, prepare single line diagrams and panel schedules, coordinate with clients, utility companies, and other trades, visit job sites if necessary, conduct field surveys, and respond to client questions. They will also oversee drafting personnel.

Qualifications

Minimum education – BS in Electrical Engineering.

1–3 years of experience in electrical design within the construction field.

Knowledge of California building and electrical codes.

Knowledge of California Title 24 energy code, using Energy Pro software.

Experience designing and drafting in AutoCAD.

Proficient in AutoCAD.

Strong analytical problem‑solving skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities.

Motivated and able to coordinate with clients and trades.
