Informatica Administrator – MDM Upgrade Support

Artiminds Global Innovations is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Administrator to lead and support an MDM platform upgrade initiative. The role involves managing Informatica environments, performing software upgrades, and ensuring seamless migration with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Informatica MDM software upgrade.
Perform installation, configuration, and patch management for Informatica components including Hub Server, Process Server, IDD, and Provisioning Tool.
Manage Informatica domains, repositories, nodes, and services using the Admin Console.
Coordinate with Infrastructure and DBA teams for system backups, schema migration, and performance validation.
Troubleshoot and resolve server connectivity, metadata, and deployment issues.
Manage user roles, groups, and security settings in Informatica Administrator.
Perform pre‑ and post‑upgrade validation, ensuring zero data loss and full functional continuity.
Maintain detailed documentation of configuration, environment changes, and migration runbooks.
Provide ongoing administration support for Production, QA, and Development environments.
Engage with Informatica Support for case resolution during the upgrade process.
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience as an Informatica Administrator.
Strong experience with Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, and Informatica Administrator Console.
Proven expertise in MDM version upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
Solid understanding of application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat) and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience with backup/recovery, high availability, and environment refresh activities.
Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting and performance tuning.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Familiarity with Informatica Axon, EDC, or IDQ integration.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of CI/CD automation for Informatica deployments.
Prior experience supporting enterprise‑scale MDM implementations.
