Job Description / Responsibilities The Procurement Analyst supports end‑to‑end supply chain spend optimization with a focus on logistics and site procurement. This entry‑level, high‑visibility position blends analytical responsibilities with exposure to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams. The role drives data‑backed decisions, supports sourcing events, and identifies cost savings and service improvement opportunities across transportation, warehousing, and site‑related procurement categories.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement & Analysis

Support procurement initiatives across transportation modes, warehousing, and site and technical procurement categories

Conduct spend analyses, cost‑based planning, and supplier performance evaluations

Identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization opportunities

Sourcing Support

Assist with sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, and tenders

Perform bid analysis, supplier evaluations, and prepare commercial recommendations

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing strategies with business needs

Monitor logistics markets and benchmark rates to inform procurement decisions

Supplier Management

Maintain supplier documentation, rate matrices, agreements, and KPI dashboards

Support supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Communication

Develop and present data‑driven insights, reports, and executive updates

Maintain accurate procurement records and project documentation

Professional Development

Participate in regular career discussions and skill development planning with management

Update personal development progress within the organization’s system

Qualifications / Requirements Must‑Have Qualifications

2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain analytics (or strong internship experience)

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, or related field

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical and technical capabilities

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and experience with Power BI or Tableau

Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage detailed work

Self‑motivated, innovative mindset with strong problem‑solving skills

Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

Understanding of freight procurement, rate structures, and supplier management

Approximately 10–20 percent occasional travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or procurement

Internship or work experience in beverage, food, or CPG industries

Familiarity with ERP or procurement platforms such as SAP or Oracle

Knowledge of Incoterms, international freight, and trade compliance

Proven ability to deliver results within timelines and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

In‑person job attendance required (Louisville – hybrid)
