Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished ERP Program Director to lead a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the Energy & Utility sector. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end implementation of ERP systems (such as NetSuite or Oracle Cloud), drive process modernization, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology outcomes. This role requires a strategic leader with proven experience managing System Integrator (SI) partners, global stakeholders, and complex enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the enterprise-wide ERP transformation program, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, financial goals, and regulatory frameworks.
Partner with SI vendors, business leaders, and functional heads to define and deliver the implementation roadmap.
Drive program governance, milestone tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication across all regions.
Oversee solution design for Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, and Project Accounting modules tailored for Oil & Energy operations.
Establish data migration, integration, and change management strategies to ensure seamless transition from legacy systems.
Ensure the program delivers measurable business value through operational efficiency, process automation, and data-driven insights.
Manage program budgets, vendor contracts, and performance of SI partners against SLAs and KPIs.
Champion digital adoption, workforce enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Report progress to executive leadership, providing transparency on delivery health, costs, and benefits realization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or Information Systems (MBA preferred).
15 years of experience in ERP implementation or transformation programs, with at least 5 years in a Program Director or equivalent leadership role.
Deep understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite) and their application in Energy & Utility operations.
Proven track record managing SI partners and multi-million-dollar ERP programs in complex, global environments.
Strong background in finance, procurement, and asset-intensive business processes.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
Experience driving AI, analytics, and automation initiatives within ERP ecosystems is a plus.
Preferred Attributes
PMP / PgMP / Prosci or equivalent program management certification.
Experience with M&A integrations, cloud migration, and data governance frameworks.
