Expected Duration: DIRECT HIRE Job Type: FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) Pay Range: $85k - $105k. We’re looking for a Capacity Planner Consultant with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise to join our strategic operations team. In this role, you’ll lead capacity planning and optimization across manufacturing and resource centers—ensuring seamless alignment between demand, production, and available resources.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and implement Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) and capacity leveling in SAP S/4HANA.
Act as SAP SME for Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) integration.
Lead short-, medium-, and long-term capacity planning, translating forecasts into manpower and machinery requirements.
Conduct what-if analyses and simulations to address constraints and improve utilization.
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production to optimize scheduling and resolve bottlenecks.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor capacity performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
5+ years in Capacity or Production Planning; 3+ years with SAP S/4HANA CRP (or ECC → S/4 migration).
Strong understanding of Work Centers, Routings, Production Orders, and MRP.
Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
Preferred
SAP PP or SCM Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – PP in S/4HANA).
Experience with SAP IBP, SAP APO, or other APS tools.
Background in Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive industries.
