Construction Engineer 3 #3073
(3685) in Los Alamos, NM.
Navarro Research & Engineering is an award-winning federal contractor dedicated to partnering with clients to advance clean energy and deliver effective solutions for complex challenges in the nuclear and environmental fields. Joining Navarro means being a part of an exceptional team committed to quality and safety while also looking for innovative strategies to create value for the client’s success. Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Navarro has active programs in place across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense.
Performs routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos Laboratory (LANL). Requires a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices and the exercise of professional judgment within the framework of established guidelines. May have leadership responsibility for less experienced construction engineers. May be specializing in a single field or area, or assuming a lead role in a specific segment of a construction project.
Requirements Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in engineering disciplines, and/or 8 years actual work experience and certifications leading to the thorough understanding of the knowledge described above or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be desirable.
Must have the ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
