Manufacturing Engineering Co‑op (MAY to AUGUST 2026) Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing Engineering Co‑op in our Energy Business Unit. You’ll help create a safer, sustainable, and connected future by improving manufacturing processes and supporting production operations.

Job Overview As a co‑op in the Energy Business Unit, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team in enhancing manufacturing processes through structured problem‑solving, resolve production issues, assist in yield improvement, quality control, and process capability. Business Unit: Energy Business Unit. Work location: Fuquay‑Varina, NC.

Responsibilities

Participate in projects related to safety, quality, productivity, and growth.

Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments.

Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures.

Assist in planning, organization, and execution of technical studies.

Help write Manufacturing Process Instructions.

Provide engineering support for other departments as needed.

Conduct special administrative projects such as data entry and analysis.

Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing project status and achievements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Currently enrolled or pursuing a BA/BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited college/university; or equivalent work history.

Previous internship or large project experience is preferred.

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.01 – $42.48 per hour (subject to change depending on location).

Internship Program Our internship program runs May through August and includes onboarding, professional development workshops, networking opportunities, operations experience, and executive exposure.
