Job Summary We are seeking a motivated MEP Electrical Engineer with hands‑on experience in commercial fit‑out projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design coordination, site execution, quality control, and commissioning of electrical systems in alignment with project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, planning, and execution of electrical works for commercial fit‑out projects.
Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, LV, ELV, fire alarm, etc.).
Prepare shop drawings, load schedules, and as‑built drawings in coordination with the design team.
Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, standards, and safety codes.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety compliance.
Assist in procurement activities, vendor evaluation, and material approvals.
Support in troubleshooting and resolving on‑site technical issues.
Maintain project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in commercial interior fit‑out / MEP projects.
Sound knowledge of MEP coordination and site execution.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
Good understanding of local electrical codes and standards.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Team‑oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
Qualifications (Good to Have)
Exposure to HVAC and plumbing coordination within MEP scope.
Experience with lighting control, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
Familiarity with LEED or sustainable design principles.
