Quanta Nashville (QMN) was established in 2003 in LaVergne, TN, with 20 employees in one building. QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees and is growing!

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!

Purpose Of Position The Process Engineering Lead is responsible for leading a team of engineers for all Process Engineering activities to continually improve quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsible to optimize processes and provide sustainable gains in product quality, process yield, and efficiency by utilizing statistical analysis, design of experiments, and daily process troubleshooting. Work integrally with multiple departments to analyze process problems and troubleshoot assembly equipment. Select, implement, and optimize equipment in the facility. Direct and develop technical staff reporting to him/her.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Coordinate, assign and manage team projects and activities

Prioritize Team’s workload to meet Site and production requirements

Ensure all tasks for department are completed in a timely manner.

Ensure PE coverage for all programs and shifts

Ensure all PE procedures are documented and followed.

Responsible for developing and training staff members in the applicable department procedures

Manage multiple departmental projects simultaneously.

Continuously improve and upgrade equipment and processes.

Develop and update SOP's to support process and procedure changes to equipment and standard procedures.

Leads communication between multiple departments and management levels

Oversees the plan for work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Oversees the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.

Analyze production times, staffing requirements and related costs of production equipment to provide information for management decisions.

Organize teams to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential to ensure that the quality of the product produced meets all customer requirements.

Supports and ensures compliance with established Company’s Corporate Principles.

Other duties as it relates to this position.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of Engineering experience

Minimum 2 years of production problem solving experience in electronic industry is preferred.

Hands‑on experience is a must

Strong problem solving and analytical skill

Capable of making sound decisions in a timely manner

Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Demonstrated successful project management experience and problem‑solving skills

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and effectively

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and CAD software

Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize day‑to‑day responsibilities

Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Other Skills And Abilities
