Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
At least 5 years of directly related experience
Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment
Good problem identification and resolution skills
Displays informal leadership characteristics

Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills

As a Process Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Nuclear Instrumentation Business Line in the Instrumentation & Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:
Complex engineering assignments requiring strong problem‑solving methodology and data analysis
Interact with Technicians on a daily basis which requires excellent verbal communication skills
Process improvements, garner support from Technicians and plant management, and implement solutions
Be challenged to continue to develop your knowledge of the organization, process, and customers

Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $97,000 – $131,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
