Sutter Health is seeking a Site Supervisor, Gatroenterology to oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure the delivery of high‑value, quality care to patients across our organization.
Position Overview The Site Supervisor supervises daily operations, staffing, team performance, and patient safety. Responsibilities include establishing priorities, resolving operational issues, implementing and enforcing department standards, policies, and procedures, and identifying and applying cost‑saving best practices through Lean and other continuous improvement methods. The role also collaborates across services to coordinate, streamline, and standardize workflows, driving positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and oversee day‑to‑day operations and staff coverage.
Ensure staff performance meets goals and promotes patient safety.
Apply department and system standards, policies, and procedures.
Identify and implement cost‑saving best practices using Lean.
Collaborate across services to coordinate, streamline, and standardize workflows.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience.
Knowledge of medical office workflows and processes.
Strong understanding of operations and workflow impact on other departments.
Knowledge of applicable local, state, federal laws and regulations affecting operations.
Leadership skills: team building, coaching, motivating, and engaging others.
Ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues guided by policy and leadership.
Project planning, leading, and implementation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive issues.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing business priorities.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, prioritizing multiple projects while delivering quality service.
Commitment to exceptional customer service and responsiveness to customer needs.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse population while respecting cultural and linguistic differences.

Compensation Pay Range: $37.68 to $56.52 per hour
