Join the BrightKey team as a Mail Services Manager. The Mail Services Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the corporate mailroom and front office support functions in a large corporate environment. This position manages a team of 4–6 employees who handle mail distribution, shipping/receiving, receptionist coverage, and general administrative support.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year

On-site in Clayton, MO

Monday through Friday (full-time)

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (may vary)

Key Requirements

3–5 years of experience in mailroom, facilities, or office services management.

Experience in sorting, screening, and metering mail and packages.

Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience in a large corporate or multi‑department office environment preferred.

Excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Proficiency with office and mailroom technologies (postage meters, tracking systems, Microsoft Excel and Outlook).

Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of mailroom, reception, and administrative staff.

Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.

Schedule and assign daily tasks to ensure coverage and workflow efficiency.

Foster a positive, customer‑focused team culture.

Oversee all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries.

Ensure timely sorting, distribution, and delivery across the corporate office.

Manage relationships with postal and delivery vendors (USPS, FedEx, UPS).

Monitor mailroom equipment and supplies, arranging maintenance or replacement as needed.

Manage front desk operations, including receptionist coverage and visitor management.

Coordinate office administrative tasks such as meeting room logistics, document handling, and general clerical support.

Support internal departments with special mailings, shipping projects, and event logistics.

Develop and maintain procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality through process or technology enhancements.

Maintain compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.

Assist with mail sorting, deliveries, and special projects during peak periods or staff shortages.

Provide backup coverage for reception or administrative tasks when necessary.

Oversee operations of the company store.
