Lead advanced power system studies and provide technical leadership across high‑impact renewable energy and grid projects.
GS2 is partnering with a leading engineering firm with a proven track record in renewable energy. They combine technical expertise with a collaborative culture, delivering excellence across solar, battery storage, substation, and transmission projects.
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Lead and execute complex power system studies, including ampacity, short‑circuit, grounding, harmonics, and transient analysis.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring technical quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to translate technical findings into practical, impactful solutions.
What You Bring
Proven experience leading power system studies in ETAP, CYMCAP, WinIGS, CDEGS, EMTP, or PSCAD.
Strong understanding of IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and ANSI standards.
Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel or MathCAD; Python experience preferred.
PE license strongly preferred.
