Summary The Digital Media Planner develops and executes strategic digital media plans that align with client goals across platforms including Basis (Centro), Simplifi, Amazon, TradeDesk and/or DV360. This role manages campaigns from planning through optimization and reporting across Display, Native, Video, OTT/CTV, and Streaming Audio channels.
Essential Functions
Attend client meetings to present pre‑sale strategies, define onboarding requirements, and provide ongoing campaign performance reports.
Oversee the end‑to‑end process of digital media planning and buying, managing complex campaigns encompassing Display, Native, Video, OTT/CTV, and Streaming Audio.
Utilize expertise in campaign optimization, leveraging data‑driven insights to maximize performance and ROI across various digital channels.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital media strategies with broader marketing initiatives including traditional media buys and earned media efforts.
Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present campaign performance and insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
Communicate with self‑service customers for platform questions, issues and notifications.
Participate in ongoing platform training, webinars, and continuing education to stay up to date with evolving digital media tools, trends, and technologies.
Ongoing training and certification requirements:
Google Ads Search Certification
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Certification
DSP certification requirements as required
Google Tag Manager training as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of hands‑on experience in digital media planning, buying, or campaign management preferred.
Demonstrated experience in digital media planning and buying across multiple channels and platforms.
Proven track record in campaign management, optimization, and performance improvement.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Experience with Google Suite, particularly Sheets and Slides.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of SEM, SEO, CDPs, and ad serving technologies such as Google Ad Manager.
Defining audience segments using Boolean logic.
Expected compensation for this role is between $65,000 and $80,000/year, based on qualifications and experience.
