Job Summary:
KBTX Media is seeking an organized, meticulously detail‑oriented individual to provide administrative support for our national and regional sales accounts. The role includes assisting the National Sales Manager and local Media Executives, serving as a backup for all account traffic instructions, and managing account-related duties such as order entry, order management, post‑buy analysis, client communication, and follow‑up.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all station account management with special focus on national/regional accounts
Provide support to sales management and the sales team for order entry in the WideOrbit Traffic system
Daily maintenance of all national/regional contract orders, revisions, additions, etc.
Daily make‑good and preemption reconciliation, including sending make‑good offers
Local and network program change notifications
Communicate with agencies: provide make‑good offers, pre‑ or post‑spot placement reports, confirmation of contracts, late‑run notifications, research credit requests, or contract discrepancies
Assist with daily log reconciliation
Assist with daily traffic and copy maintenance as needed
Assist with all political advertising contracts and FCC political file upkeep
Assist with advanced log maintenance to allow for maximum use of inventory or provide advanced program change notifications/make‑good offers
Qualifications:
Detail-oriented and proficient in accurate data entry
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask while meeting daily deadlines
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing time wisely
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience with WideOrbit Traffic systems is a plus
Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle with insurance, and clean driving record
Sales experience not required; motivation to join a top-selling sales team is important
Associate’s Degree or Four-Year Degree in a related field preferred but not required
