The expected base salary range for this position is between 82,400.00 USD – 108,150.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. As a Senior Associate, Sales Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic account team, transforming syndicated data into strategic insights that directly impact SCJ’s performance. This is more than just number crunching—you’ll collaborate across sales, marketing, customer supply chain, and even connect with account buying teams to deliver compelling stories that drive decisions. Key Responsibilities
Analysis across the respective business unit, as it relates to forecasting, sales performance, new item performance, display incrementality and promotional productivity.
Responsible for sales forecasting, as it relates to the base business, new items, and display.
Utilizes POS data to uncover sales opportunities and helps develop a sales narrative to be presented to the buying team.
Utilize multiple sources of data for analysis, including Target Greenfield, Nielsen, IRI, and TPMax (Sales Forecasting Tool).
Required Experience You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 1+ years of relevant work experience.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experiences and Skills Technical Skills
Some knowledge of sales tools preferred, i.e., Target Greenfield.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Strong understanding of data storytelling and presenting insights to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with IRI, Nielsen, or Circana platforms.
Ability to extract, interpret, and apply syndicated data to business strategies.
Leadership Skills
Ability to adapt to changing work and client demands.
Strong communicator, as it comes to internal and external communication.
Job Requirements
Full-time onsite role in Minneapolis, MN; SC Johnson Target office.
10% travel.
Remote work available once a week for eligible employees.
The individual assuming this position may need to relocate for future opportunities.
This role is not eligible for domestic relocation.
