Security Lead Officer El Paso Water Parks
Under general direction of the security supervisor and directs security officers to their assigned rounds to always protect patrons and property, to include proactive risk mitigation for work conditions and guest safety.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and organized, clean, professional workspace

Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
Responsible for accurate communication between all departments to ensure all facilities are intact and operating correctly
Provide excellent customer service with a helpful and friendly attitude
Understanding of parks rules, policies, and procedures, and being able to communicate these to our guests
Oversee and obtain feedback with Security Officers
Recommend disciplinary action for subordinates through proper chain of command
Document and review Daily Activities Reports, Incident Reports, PM’s, Inspections, Deliveries, etc. and report findings
Attend operational meetings
Delegate duties to subordinates, daily and weekly
Knowledge of CCTV usage and data extraction
Report employees in violation of ASM Global’s conduct policies
Patrolling all park premises to ensure safety and completion of rounds
Ability to perform subordinate duties to include but are not limited to:
Respond to alarms and distress calls, escort disruptive individuals to security office and/or off premises
Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering
Respond, generate, and assist with crowd control inside and outside
Escort/assist Site Managers when handling large sums of money, supervise security officers to ensure completion of assigned duties
Making rounds and documenting shift details
Assist other departments in need to accomplish event expectations or company’s objectives
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Position requires physical ability to move around facility grounds and buildings, may require operation of motor vehicle, may be exposed to physical confrontations, indoors and outdoors
working conditions and long periods of desk duties.
Hours may change due to operational necessity
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, corrections, law enforcement, or military service.
Level 2 Security License (required)
Communication Skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
Organizational Skills
High School Diploma/GED
OSHA Certification (training provided)
Computer knowledge and typing skills
Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
CPR/First Aid Certified (training provided)
Can speak and write in English and Spanish (preferred)
Current knowledge/certification in crowd control, fire suppression, and emergency preparedness preferred
