We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce DevOps System Engineer
to manage and maintain our Copado DevOps pipeline, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of our Salesforce environment. You will work closely with our technology teams to support, optimize, and enhance our Salesforce platform and deployment processes. Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain the Copado DevOps pipeline for Salesforce deployments
Coordinate and execute deployment activities, including environment refreshes and release schedules
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, collaborating with development and QA teams as needed
Implement and manage Git branching strategies for Salesforce metadata and code version control
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado, including automated quality gates and security scans
Automate deployment, environment provisioning, and operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure as code tools
Ensure compliance with change management and audit requirements
Document deployment processes, error reports, and changes to field history tables
Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases, and coordinate Copado updates
Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards for deployment tracking and operational insights
Perform routine system health checks and environment monitoring
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Salesforce development or DevOps engineering, with hands‑on Copado pipeline management
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (required)
Experience with Git branching strategies and version control for Salesforce metadata and code
Experience with CI/CD pipeline management and automation using Copado
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Copado DevOps Engineer certification preferred; Salesforce Administrator certification required
Experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
Experience with Copado Robotic Testing
Experience with cloud platforms and security best practices for DevOps pipelines
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Experience building solutions with Power Automate
Experience working with Azure DevOps

Location This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000‑square‑foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company's primary technology and operations center. This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
