Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a 468-bed academic acute care facility. The medical campus has a rich history of serving the community since 1773 and houses Maryland’s only regional burn center. The department of Imaging and Imaging Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center offers a wide spectrum of imaging services including diagnostic, ultrasound, breast imaging, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine/PET exams as well as interventional procedures. Our world-renowned physicians and staff members, led by Karen Horton, M.D., focus on combining the latest in radiological technology with specialized expertise to diagnose and treat patients.

As part of the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System, you will experience a range of patient demographics and conditions and work closely with radiologists and other clinicians in providing patient care using the latest equipment, software, and protocols. Our on-the-ground leadership team recognizes the importance of support and clear communication with all members of the staff. Johns Hopkins Bayview is searching for a Senior Radiology Technologist to join their elite team. As a Sr. Rad Tech you will:

perform diagnostic radiology proceedures

act a resource for staff and student technologist

may function in supervisory capacity

promote patient satisfaction and safety

Work with a diverse patient population (pediatrics to geriatrics)

Rotate through ED, OR, pediatrics, Endoscopy, Urology Clinic, Pain Clinic

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiology Technology or equivalent

ARRT certification

Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians

CPR certification within three (3) months of employment

Two (2) years full time clinical imaging experience

Shift: Full Time (40 hours)

Rotating Shift

Weekend work is required

Salary Range:

Minimum 34.11/hour - Maximum 56.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
