Our products are only as strong as our supply base. In this role, you will raise the bar for supplier performance and ensure every delivered part conforms to specification and regulation. You will
Qualify new suppliers through audits, assessments, and formal approval processes. Own supplier performance management: monitor KPIs, lead regular business reviews, and drive corrective actions. Run data‑driven root cause analysis and execute CAPA using 8D and 5 Whys. Establish incoming inspection criteria, sampling plans, and acceptance standards for purchased materials and components. Support new product introductions by collaborating with suppliers during design and production; coordinate FAI, PPAP, and process capability studies. Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to rapidly contain and resolve quality issues. Maintain supplier quality documentation; ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 requirements; FDA QSR familiarity preferred. You have
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent technical experience). ASQ CQE or CQA certification. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. Hands‑on command of FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and 5 Whys. Proficiency reading drawings and applying GD&T. Clear communicator with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience with ERP and QMS systems. 2+ years in an ISO‑certified environment (ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485). Ability to travel 20–30% to supplier locations. Where you will collaborate
