*Responsibilities*

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica and Talend to ensure high-quality data integration from diverse sources including AWS, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, and Oracle databases. * Build and optimize data warehouses utilizing SQL Server, Apache Hive, Spark, and other big data frameworks to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. * Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker and other visualization tools to present insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver timely solutions that meet business needs. * Implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems and facilitate real-time analytics capabilities. * Perform model training and analysis using Python, SQL, and shell scripting to enhance predictive analytics initiatives. * Design robust database schemas and optimize database performance through effective database design principles. * Conduct analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decisions. * Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, workflows, and technical specifications for transparency and future reference. * Stay current with emerging technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem components, Azure Data Lake services, and linked data concepts to continuously improve our BI infrastructure.

*Skills*

* Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and Big Data technologies including Hadoop ecosystem components like Hive and Spark. * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Data Lake for scalable data storage solutions. * Expertise in ETL tools like Informatica and Talend for efficient data processing workflows. * Advanced knowledge of programming languages including Python, Java, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting for automation and analysis tasks. * Familiarity with Looker or similar BI visualization platforms for creating compelling dashboards. * Experience with RESTful API development for system integrations. * Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture principles and database design best practices. * Knowledge of linked data concepts for integrating diverse datasets across platforms. * Ability to work within Agile methodologies promoting iterative development cycles. * Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights. * Experience with model training techniques for predictive analytics applications. Pay: $92,158.80 - $110,986.95 per year
