As Director of Labor Relations, you’ll play a critical role in delivering our supply chain people strategy by fostering meaningful engagement and collaboration across our manufacturing network. This role partners with key senior leaders within Supply Chain and HR and works closely with our Plant leadership teams. This role works across the manufacturing network. The Director of Labor Relations can be located at the Battle Creek, MI HQ, co‑located with one of the WK plant facilities, or remote.

Lead the Charge : Be the go‑to expert for all things labor relations, providing strategic guidance to ensure an empowered, engaged, and inspired workforce.

Drive Positive Change : Build and maintain strong partnerships with leaders and teams at all levels to create a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration.

Standardize for Success : Develop, refine, and implement standardized labor‑related policies, procedures, and practices to drive consistency, fairness, and equity across the organization.

Navigate Challenges : Handle labor relations matters with confidence, integrity, and forward‑thinking solutions that strengthen our organization.

Champion Empowerment : Support and inspire teams to achieve their fullest potential through innovative labor strategies that align with our business goals.

Ignite progress: Spearhead negotiations and serve as the organization’s chief spokesperson.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor’s degree required

Expertise in Human Resources and Labor Relations and a proven track record of successfully navigating complex labor landscapes.

A strategic mindset with the ability to create and implement labor policies that empower and engage teams.

A passion for people and building strong, collaborative relationships

Experience driving human capital and employee relations strategies

Effective communication, conflict resolution skills, and negotiation skills to build trust and alignment.

A desire to make an impact in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Proven track record in a manufacturing environment required

Experience in the food industry a PLUS

Salary Range: $162,600 - $223,630
