Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in New Braunfels, TX for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual problems and ocular diseases, and working closely with other members of the healthcare team. Additionally, the Optometrist will maintain accurate patient records, and educate patients on eye care best practices and preventive measures.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
Valid optometry license in Texas and in good standing
Experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, and corneal diseases
Skill in conducting comprehensive eye exams and prescribing corrective lenses
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team
Commitment to patient-centered care and high-quality service
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial
Continuing education and staying updated with the latest advancements in optometry
