Position Overview : The Davey Tree Surgery Company is pleased to offer a key opportunity in the field of utility line clearance as a Groundperson with a CDL.
Location : Lake Placid, FL (On Site). Req ID: 217414.
Job Duties :
Provides support for other crew members by controlling lowering ropes, limbs, and persons from aloft.
Supplying tools for tree workers.
Controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods.
Cutting, chipping and loading brush and wood and ensuring proper job site cleanup.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Commercial driver’s license required.
Certificates and licenses as necessary (pesticide license, herbicide license, line clearance certification, ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain).
