We’re looking for a Sr. Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-performing Technology Operations team. This is a hands-on, highly technical role where you'll lead efforts to support, automate, and optimize our enterprise infrastructure while ensuring high availability and seamless performance of mission-critical systems.
As a technical leader, you’ll work closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to drive automation initiatives, streamline processes, and elevate platform stability. If you’re a Windows infrastructure pro with a knack for scripting, automation, and solving complex problems — we want to talk to you!
What You’ll Do:
Own and manage production support, access management, audit compliance, change control, and incident resolution in a 24x7 operational model.
Lead infrastructure automation efforts using PowerShell and other modern scripting tools to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with application teams to scope and support platform integration during Discovery and Implementation phases.
Maintain a reliable, scalable Windows server environment (Windows 2016–2022) including Active Directory, IIS, and enterprise-grade COTS apps.
Oversee server patching, upgrades, disaster recovery processes, and system performance optimization.
Partner with stakeholders to deliver SLA-aligned support, root cause analysis, and strategic improvements.
Serve as a mentor and escalation point for junior team members on technical and operational challenges.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve monitoring, automation, and incident response using industry best practices and modern tools.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, InfoSec policies, and change management standards.
What You Bring:
5+ years of hands‑on IT infrastructure experience in a Windows environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Deep experience in Windows Server administration (2016–2022), IIS, and Active Directory.
3+ years of strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Strong troubleshooting skills for production systems — with both tactical and long‑term solution mindsets.
Understanding of hardware platforms like Dell/Cisco servers and out‑of‑band management.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with Nutanix, Hyper‑V, AWS, or Azure platforms.
Familiarity with Microsoft Clustering, SAN/NAS storage, and enterprise backup strategies.
Working knowledge of Azure Policy, DSC, SCCM, Ansible, or other automation/configuration management tools.
Development skills in .Net, C#, SQL, and comfort working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
Passion for security and experience implementing infrastructure hardening best practices.
DevOps mindset and exposure to Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
