The salary range for this position is $43.59 - $58.85 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description This position will be scheduled 10‑hour shifts for both the Sycamore and Warrenville Orthopaedic office locations. Sycamore is Monday‑Friday and the Warrenville office will include one 8‑hour Saturday per month.
Responsibilities
Performs high‑quality MRI testing per department policies and procedures.
Obtains accurate patient screening and consent per department policies and procedures.
Performs and maintains all quality monitors per department policies and procedures.
Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, including pediatric, geriatric, and general population.
Follows all patient safety policies and procedures (including but not limited to: Safe MRI environment, patient monitoring, risk to fall, pregnancy verification, GFR assessment, patient identification).
Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and professionalism in stressful situations.
Takes MRI call according to schedule. Responds in an appropriate timeframe when called in.
Assists with new staff, intern orientation and training as requested.
Ensures accurate orders/charges and image file management.
Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.
Assists with all other department functions as necessary—including inventory management, maintaining a clean/safe work environment, patient follow‑up calls, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Required Qualifications
One year of RT experience.
AMRIT (or equivalent) licensure.
One year of MRI experience.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Graduation from an AMA/ACR approved school of Radiologic Technology or an MRI certification program.
Either ARRT (MR) or AMRIT MRI Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT Certification preferred.
Two years of MRI experience.
Bachelor of Science preferred.
Experience with GE equipment.
