is seeking an onsite experienced and strategic

Human Resources Director

to lead and oversee all human resources functions.

Location:

Walton, KY (Onsite role)

Salary:

$120,000–$140,000 — Includes a great benefits package.

Responsibilities

Develops, plans, implements, and oversees all human resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws.

Designs and manages HR programs and policies aligned with the organization’s mission and values to support company objectives and foster a diverse, engaged workforce.

Maintains expertise in employment law and labor relations; provides strategic guidance to leadership on evolving organizational needs.

Leads the implementation and continuous improvement of HRIS systems to streamline processes and generate data-driven insights on workforce trends.

Collaborates with executive leadership to align HR strategies with overall organizational goals and workforce development initiatives.

Advises leadership on creating and sustaining an inclusive, high-performance culture across multiple locations.

Develops, coordinates, and executes policies, processes, training programs, initiatives, and surveys to ensure HR compliance and strategic support.

Oversees key HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, dispute resolution, performance management, employee recognition, and training.

Mentors HR staff on compliance issues and technical matters such as labor relations, ADA, FMLA, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Ensures adherence to employment laws and regulations; updates policies as needed to maintain compliance.

Analyzes organizational trends by reviewing HRIS data, reports, and metrics to inform strategic decision-making.

Stays informed on HR best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies; communicates relevant changes to leadership and staff.

Leads initiatives related to succession planning, organizational design, and change management to support sustainable growth.

Manages the HR department budget effectively.

Facilitates ongoing professional development and certification activities for HR staff, including SHRM, HRCI, and other credentials.

Skills

Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills; proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Partners effectively with employees, colleagues, and external vendors to foster positive relationships and HR operations.

Holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, with at least 5 years of progressive HR management experience, including multi-site oversight.

Supervises HR team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and opportunities for growth.
