What We Need
Brady Corporation is seeking an
IT Network Engineer . You’ll be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure its reliability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking principles and network security.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, configure, and install local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and repairs for network hardware and software including routers, switches, and firewalls
Monitor network performance for the Americas and assist with global topics
Troubleshoot network issues to ensure smooth operation
Implement and manage network security, such as firewalls and VPNs
Maintain detailed network topologies and configuration changes
Collaborate with other IT teams to understand needs for effective solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, IT, or related field or Associate’s degree in network engineering or related field with 5‑7 years of technical experience in network engineering
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and 802.11)
Understanding of cloud networking concepts
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in network security principles and practices
Experience with vendors to explore new technologies
