Base pay range $26.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Make Precision Your Craft Join Meyers in Minneapolis, MN (55428) as a Flatbed Die-Cutting Press Specialist and be a key contributor to a high-performing production team. You’ll keep our die-cutting line running at peak performance and deliver superb results on every run.
Shift & Schedule 3rd shift: Sun – Thu, 11 pm – 7 am
What a Typical Night Looks Like You arrive, review the job ticket, and set up a flatbed diecutter including the 40" Bobst for the first order. As the press hums, you monitor quality, make fine adjustments, and keep detailed records. When a new job hits the queue, you handle the changeover efficiently, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and collaborate with teammates to maintain throughput and safety. You leave your area spotless and ready for the next run.
Core Responsibilities
Configure and run flatbed die-cutting equipment to consistently achieve precise, high‑grade output.
Verify materials and settings, and continuously check quality to match specifications.
Conduct routine upkeep and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
Work closely with colleagues to improve cycle times, yield, and overall line performance.
Uphold 5S principles and all safety standards to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Capture production metrics and promptly escape concerns to leadership.
Support onboarding by training and coaching newer operators when needed.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing or technical coursework is a plus.
Hands‑on experience operating flatbed diecutters (Bobst experience strongly valued) or similar machinery.
Mechanical savvy with solid troubleshooting instincts.
Ability to interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documentation.
Sharp attention to detail and a passion for doing it right the first time.
Comfort working in a fast‑moving production environment with firm deadlines.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
