Responsibilities

You will drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor, providing feedback and insights from customers and partners, and expand impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level Technical Decision Makers and business stakeholders.

You will provide direction to Technical Decision Makers and build the bridge between Technical Decision Makers and Business Decision Makers.

You will develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help customers get value from their Microsoft investments.

You will identify resolutions to customer blockers by leveraging Microsoft Cloud and professional subject matter expertise, delivering according to Microsoft Cloud and industry best practices and using repeatable Intellectual Property (IP).

You will identify and evaluate industry trends, gather customer and partner insights, and map organizational best practices and digital transformation solutions to customer and partner business outcomes.

You will align individual skills to team and area demands, accelerate customer outcomes, share expertise in relevant communities, contribute to IP creation and reuse, and drive changes and improvements to IP, technologies, and processes that enable solutions to scale across customers and partners.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.

2+ years experience working in a customer‑facing role (internal and/or external).

2+ years experience working on technical projects.

Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Security Clearance Requirements

Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance and be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Successful verification of the stated security clearance is required to meet federal government customer requirements.

Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Must be a U.S. citizen; citizenship will be verified via a valid passport or other approved documents.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships, gaining trust and respect for the company.

Experience in the enterprise customer segment.

Experience With Technical Writing, Presentation, And Training Skills

4+ years experience working in a customer‑facing role (internal and/or external).

4+ years experience working on technical projects.

Experience developing strategic ongoing customer relationships.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.

Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Certifications

ITIL/Service Management/ProSCI Change Management.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 – $169,800 per year. In the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $112,000 – $185,300 per year.
