We are looking for a skilled Programmer Analyst to join a growing team in the Gilford, NH area. This role is ideal for someone who excels in designing and supporting systems, delivering technical solutions, and collaborating closely with users to resolve issues. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining software systems that support multi-environment, multi-divisional, and multi-national operations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software solutions tailored to multi-environment, multi-divisional, and multi-national business needs.
Collaborate with users to analyze system issues and provide effective resolutions.
Manage projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all development activities and system processes.
Provide support for financial systems, including troubleshooting and optimizing functionality.
Utilize programming languages such as RPG/400, MySQL, and DB2 to enhance system performance.
Work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Leverage Microsoft Office tools and Visual Basic to create financial analysis tools.
Support development and functionality on IBM iSeries and AS400 platforms.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a background in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Proven experience in developing and supporting financial systems and their users.
Strong knowledge of programming languages, including RPG/400, MySQL, and DB2.
Familiarity with IBM iSeries and AS400 systems.
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as Infor XA and Sage Fixed Assets.
Ability to manage projects with precision and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Visual Basic for financial analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to address user needs effectively.
