Job Summary The Social Media Marketing & Business Development Specialist will play a key role in growing our brand awareness, engaging our audience, and identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy, building relationships with partners and clients, and driving revenue growth through business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands‑on executor who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Marketing
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn.
Create engaging and high‑quality content (visual and written) that aligns with the brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
Manage the social media calendar, including scheduling posts, tracking performance, and reporting analytics.
Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategy innovative and up‑to‑date.
Engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Run and optimize paid social media campaigns, monitoring ROI and adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach to potential clients, partners, and collaborators.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders to drive partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
Develop proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients or partners.
Assist in negotiating contracts and closing new deals.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence and generate leads.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or business development. Entry level candidates will also be considered.
Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns and growing engagement.
Experience in business development, including generating leads and closing deals.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Creativity and a passion for storytelling, with a keen eye for design and detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with paid advertising on social media platforms (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and network effectively.
