Role description The Water Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager will work across engineering disciplines on water/wastewater projects in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will manage the full project lifecycle—conceptual planning, permitting, detailed design, construction support—and contribute to business development activities.

Responsibilities

Lead each project phase: contracting, planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and supervising design.

Provide technical reviews and constructability assessments, support permitting, construction observation and shop drawing review.

Prepare design calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications for water, wastewater, stormwater, and reclaimed water systems.

Develop cost estimates and project schedules, ensuring design is completed on time and within budget.

Supervise and mentor junior staff and collaborate with principal-level staff to win new projects.

Present project information to clients during weekly and monthly progress meetings.

Travel to project sites, client meetings, and other project‑related activities as required.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.

At least 6 years of experience designing and planning water and wastewater projects.

PE license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.

Preferred qualifications

Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.

Experience in project management or assisting projects, construction inspection, asset management.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS platforms.

NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certification is a plus.
