$3,892 to $4,925 per month (Steps C – I) Shift Work
Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities
Plan, assign and review the work of lower‑level Visitor Information Program Assistants. Conduct on‑the‑job training of subordinates as assigned. Resolve operational problems, referring unusual or complex cases to the supervisor. Prepare and compile operational reports. Receive and resolve complaints or refer them to the appropriate office. Evaluate the work performance of subordinates. Recommend approval or disapproval of requests for leaves of absence. Prepare requisitions for supplies and other items. Maintain a daily log of all operational activities at airport and harbor terminals. Participate in special greeting assignments and conduct airport or harbor tours as required. Minimum Qualification Requirements
Basic Experience:
Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions with a high degree of verbal skill. This may be met through part‑time or unpaid continuous work, or a high school diploma or equivalent. General Experience:
Two (2) years of work experience that demonstrates patience, tact, and an even temper. Desired experience includes hospitality or customer service for the traveling public. Substitutions:
Completion of accredited college or university coursework may substitute for the General Experience (15 semester credit hours with at least three semester credit hours in psychology, sociology, social work, or another behavioral science). Supervisory Experience:
Demonstrated supervisory aptitude through team leadership, supervisory responsibilities, or supervisory training accompanied by application of supervisory skills. Valid driver’s license. Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Clearance – failure to meet federal criminal history requirements will disqualify the applicant. Legal authorization to work in the United States (citizen, national, permanent resident alien, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment). Contact Information
