Position Summary:
Analyze equipment failures and utilize a Root Cause Analysis method to identify countermeasures, implement solutions to reduce failures.
Implement and maintain predictive maintenance technology systems including; vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared testing, motor analysis, etc to maximize equipment reliability.
Use of CMMS as a tool to improve equipment reliability by identifying repetitive equipment failures, failure modes and mean time between failures.
Participate in decisions to rebuild, repair or replace equipment.
Identify and implement methods to optimize management of lubrication, storage and handling of lubrication, oil analysis techniques and lubrication of equipment.
Develop, analyze and improve Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures including Equipment Maintenance Plans and PM Optimization.
Lead and manage equipment condition improvements as well as Plant Capital and Repair Projects.
Manage Plants Maintenance Repair and expense budget.
Manage hourly department employees, plan and assign their work.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree in engineering or related technical degree a plus.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in directing plant maintenance processes.
Advanced technical or specialized skills with proficiency attained through wide experience in equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
Diverse experience on multiple projects with operational or conceptual integration or coordination of activities.
