Job Duties Design and implementation of WMS/OM/B2B system solution including process/system design, system set‑up and configuration, user training, testing, go‑live support, and continuous improvement. Works through all phases of the SDLC including leading focus groups and workshops to discuss requirements, articulate business processes, and create business requirement documents that meet the strategic needs of the supply chain initiatives.
Analyzes customer and business partner requirements to understand and apply system implementation concepts and principles to effectively implement and support inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes and transportation systems. Participates in integration meetings with clients to determine system requirements and specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration.
Translates client/business requirements into system requirements, technical specifications, and logical data mappings for integration. Partners with technical subject matter experts to develop the detailed technical process flow, business architecture, integration requirements and decision points for the WMS solution. Provides day‑to‑day technical support of warehouse management systems and automation control systems. Identifies potential issues, recommends solutions, escalates to appropriate level, and seeks advice and guidance from within/external to the organization.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime which may include weekends. Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from worksite. Will require physical presence at worksite at least several days a week.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Support Analyst, WMS Analyst, software engineer, or related occupation with a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field.
Experience with 3PL or MIS and WMS implementation in a distribution center environment.
Knowledge of warehouse processes (receiving through shipping), automation systems (picking bots, GTP, pick to light, ASRS, robotic arms, unit sorter, shipping, conveyor, etc.) and peripheral interface devices (RF, printers, etc.).
Experience with WMS configuration, implementation, and support including familiarity with RF systems and equipment.
Experience writing and/or administering SQL for Oracle or similar databases.
Travel: Up to 10% travel to company headquarters in North Carolina.
Salary: $105,206.00/year.
