a

Field Project Supervisor

to maintain a high degree of knowledge in equipment and specifications related to the design, mapping, and engineering of fiber optic communications systems. The right candidate will have outstanding communication skills, proficient in organization, and be team-oriented. Monitor field quality and compliance with job specifications. Issue and track work needed to complete assigned projects. Perform quality control check on all maps received in the field. Review and verify invoices from personnel to ensure work was performed. Work and communicate effectively with subcontractors, construction managers, and all field staff. Monitor and maintain schedules to meet customer specifications. Meet regularly with key personnel to ensure that stated goals and objectives are being met. Oversee corrective action(s), as assigned, on any project or personnel issues to meet cost targets, completion schedules, and customer satisfaction. Conduct performance reviews for direct reports. Create an environment and goals for employees to be continually challenged. Coach, develop, train, and manage direct reports; approve and submit timesheets weekly. Creates and promotes the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as related to employees, the public and customers. This includes ensuring that service and quality provided to customers is satisfactory. Conducts quality assurance inspections during and after completion of work to ensure compliance to customer specific requirements Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience in a related industry . 3+ years’ experience with CATV/Telecom field operations, including engineering, mapping, design, permitting, utility locating, invoicing, and staffing; will be able to provide outstanding customer service, and be able to collaborate with our Engineering Services leadership team. Knowledge of pole sticking. Knowledge of cable design and construction of cable systems. Detailed knowledge of field process and/or construction practices. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to accurately update As-Built field prints with equipment & information obtained from the field walkout. Advanced knowledge of Katapult, ArcGIS, Bluebeam, or similar software. Must be highly responsible and self-motivated. Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, vendors, and customers/clients. Strong organizational and communication skills. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager. full-time Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST. Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary. Additional Information
