The Data & Analysis team leverages data-driven insights to support strategic growth for clients. We believe that data should be used to enhance ideas and narratives for our clients, not exist in a vacuum. This role focuses on data and measurement strategy for large brands in a rapidly growing retail media market. Responsibilities
As a Commerce Data Manager, support teams in driving strategic data-driven growth and operational efficiencies with data. Uncover insights and communicate recommendations from brand campaigns, acquisition campaigns, site optimization, and online testing strategy. Assist the Commerce representative for the Data, Platforms, and Intelligence capability and explain complex Commerce media performance to internal/client teams in an accessible manner. Serve as a supporting partner for the client and internal teams by applying conceptual data frameworks and developing effective reporting to evaluate marketing strategies. Assist in the efficient execution of projects, including adherence to best practices. Provide guidance on data management process improvements and data automation solutions to ensure marketing data is democratized, reliable, and delivered efficiently. Lead a team of 1-2 analysts. Assist in expanding client work, including building recommended approaches and scope. Encourage creative thinking around the use of data to solve business challenges across Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce). Contribute to a collaborative team environment, participate in department-wide training, and support employee career growth. Assist in developing the Commerce Analytics practice and identify new data opportunities and sources. Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting firm, or ad tech company. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of digital data technologies (RMNs, DMPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.). Ability to navigate complex client interactions with composure and communicate clearly under tight deadlines; comfortable managing ambiguity. Experience leading and motivating teams in high-pressure situations, balancing client expectations with internal capabilities. Familiarity with modern statistical learning methods (regression, classification, supervised/unsupervised learning). Four-year college degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or training is a plus. Passion for online advertising and emerging trends in the digital landscape.
