Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain an L level Clearance for this role. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Schedule Wednesday – Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Saturday – Sunday 11:00pm – 7:00am
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain
Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, test and adjust a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
Perform inspections.
Supervise subcontractors.
Troubleshoot.
Qualifications
Must have a current Journeyman Electrician License (DC or MD).
Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
Must have general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Must have Troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to work the schedule above.

Compensation $42.03 per hour
