Key Responsibilities
Project and technical task management including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, due diligence, and environmental risk management.
Office and some field support for environmental site assessment projects including soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, pore water, and soil gas sample collection.
Design, bid specifications, construction oversight, operation, and maintenance of environmental remediation projects.
Data collection and leadership of environmental permitting.
Data synthesis, evaluation, and technical reporting.
Business development, proposal preparation, and networking.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering.
Knowledge of Michigan & Federal Environmental Regulations (Air, Water, Soil, Waste).
Knowledge of audit inspection procedures.
Familiarity with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA).
Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a culturally diverse team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Valid driver’s license and HAZWOPER certification.
Certified Industrial Storm Water Operator is a plus!
