Position Overview We are looking for a talented Contract Robotics Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced robotic systems within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in robotics, automation, and control systems, with proficiency in PLC Programming, CAD, and SCADA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects and contribute to the optimization of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement robotic systems and automation solutions for various manufacturing processes

Program and configure industrial robots and related equipment using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems

Create and modify CAD (Computer‑Aided Design) drawings and 3D models for robotic systems and components

Develop and maintain SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and controlling robotic operations

Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for new robotic applications and process improvements

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robotic systems, including hardware and software problems

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems

Develop and maintain documentation for robotic systems, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and training materials

Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures for robotic systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations

Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in robotics technology and industry best practices

Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on robotic systems

Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities related to robotics initiatives

Conduct performance analysis and optimization of existing robotic systems to improve efficiency and productivity

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and integrate new robotic technologies and components

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial robotics and automation

Proficiency in PLC Programming, with experience in such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text

Strong skills in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Experience with SCADA systems and HMI (Human‑Machine Interface) development
