With more than 200 water and wastewater treatment plants, SSWG designs, builds, owns, and operates projects that optimize risk transfer between the public and private sectors, providing innovative Water-as-a-Service solutions.
Description SSWG operates two primary businesses: Seven Seas Water, providing water treatment and desalination to government, hospitality, and industrial clients across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean; and the AUC Group, delivering decentralized water and wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal customers in the United States.
Requirements
Experience preparing Income Tax Provisions. Understanding of ASC 740 and income tax accounting concepts with the ability to apply these concepts across different industries and jurisdictions.
Experience with preparing U.S. Federal Corporate Income Tax Returns. Local tax compliance experience in international jurisdictions preferred.
Strong Excel and computer skills working with large data sets and pivot tables, proficiency in Word, and familiarity with general ledger and financial reporting systems.
High degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Desire and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and produce quality work under tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with superior attention to detail.
Research oriented to help explore new jurisdictions with company growth.
Flexibility to manage competing priorities and projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, taxation or a related field.
CPA required.
5–7 years of relevant current work experience. Experience with Big 4, large top‑tier CPA firm and/or multinational public company required.
Existing knowledge of federal and state regulations, with some experience in international tax jurisdictions preferred.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP is a plus.
