We are seeking a detail-oriented specialist with experience in charge capture and reconciliation in a physician practice. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in CPT, ICD‑10‑CM, and HCPCS coding, and excels at resolving discrepancies, reviewing charges, and collaborating with providers. Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely charge capture and reconciliation of professional and technical charges across complex oncology service lines. Review and analyze complex professional and facility billing, mapping, and documentation for accuracy. Stay current with industry standards and institutional billing compliance guidelines, including CPT‑4, ICD‑10‑CM, and HCPCS code updates. Manage open encounter workflows for professional and technical encounters, ensuring all charges are captured. Initiate and implement charge corrections, researching root causes and updating the billing system. Monitor compliance issues, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with management to implement corrective measures. Support Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance and analysis, ensuring accurate supply charge entries. Provide training and support to providers, billing staff, and clinical teams. Reconcile charges daily to identify discrepancies or omissions and ensure timely, accurate billing. Communicate proactively with providers and clinical staff to resolve missing or incomplete charges. Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with management to implement corrective actions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education

Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field. Certification (Preferred)

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) through the AAPC Certified Coding Specialist‑Physician based (CCS‑P) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through AHIMA Experience

Four years of professional fee billing experience in healthcare or insurance field. Substituting educational requirement with additional years of experience on a one‑to‑one basis is acceptable. Preferred Experience

Experience in a physician office/group practice for professional charge capture, working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS code assignment, and understanding of supporting documentation. Epic and coding experience; coding certification is a plus. Benefits
