Note:
The position requires on‑site presence at the Houston office for a minimum of three days per week, and the selected candidate must be local to Houston and available to start on Day 1. Interview process:

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the trade capture system. Provide comprehensive documentation for requirements (Epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge case scenarios). Enable functional design and workflow detailing to support project tracking. Conduct backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning, enabling development and quality teams with complete functional/domain understanding. Assist in triaging and prioritizing issues related to project deployments. Communicate with business users and conduct iterative demonstrations for building an effective MVP. Manage tasks, timelines and progress reporting, communicating status, process standards, changes, gaps, and workarounds clearly to all stakeholders, including third‑party vendors. Required Experience and Skills
10+ years of direct functional and technical experience. 10+ years of experience with high‑complexity Oracle queries. Strong functional understanding of Retail Energy Trading for Power and Gas. Knowledge of retail deal structuring, pricing, contracts, forecasting, invoicing, settlements, bid‑to‑bill management (ISO/RTO bids, awards, tags, etc.), customer hedges, broker payments, market risk VaR, reference data, ERP integration and end‑of‑month accounting. Experience managing end‑to‑end delivery of a trade capture system. Ability to handle business changes and manage stakeholder expectations. Proficiency in Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Experience using Azure DevOps throughout the full software lifecycle. Job Details
