Overview The Field Engineer is an entry-level role designed to provide exposure to various career tracks within construction management, including field management, project management, preconstruction services, virtual design and construction coordination, and safety. This position supports the Superintendent and field supervisory team on assigned projects and provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge essential for growth in the construction industry.

Eligibility is limited to candidates who have completed our internship program.

Key Responsibilities

Assist and support the Superintendent and field supervisory team in the day-to-day operations of construction projects.

Represent the company on‑site, ensuring compliance with construction methods, procedures, and safety standards.

Monitor and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and other necessary records.

Coordinate with internal project teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.

Aid in the implementation and management of virtual design and construction (VDC) coordination, ensuring that designs align with project objectives and timelines.

Help in preconstruction services, including planning, scheduling, and estimating project requirements.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all members of the project team, including internal departments and external contractors and vendors.

Support the safety program by ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed on‑site and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and terminology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills for effective documentation and reporting.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in construction management.

Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in construction.

Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise during the construction process.

Motivated, self‑starter with a keen interest in construction and project management.
